Pretty Birdies!

I went to our town festival this weekend and they had some birds there from a bird rescue organization. I took some photos of the pretty birds to show all of you!

This cutie was all about his food.

This one was eating whatever anyone gave him.

He was giving me the evil eye!

This cutie lost his beak when his previous owner tried to “help” him out of his shell when he was being born. They said it will never grow back.

And this crankypants only wanted to show off and be a butt. He didn’t want his picture taken.

I DID IT!! I FINALLY WON!!

When I was younger, my Granny taught me this game called Hand Solitaire. It’s a simple game that doesn’t require any space because it’s played in your hand (hence the name of the game). This was a great game to play in cars, on the train or a plane (it was 18 plus hours to Europe so I played it A LOT!) ANYWAY, all the years I’ve been playing this game, I have never won UNTIL LAST NIGHT! I finally won a hand and just about fell off my chair. I actually didn’t believe it was possible to win but I played anyway because it was fun. I can now say with complete certainty that this game is possible to win but it may take you years to do it. LOL! Hope you all like my pretty cards.

I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. I was up late one night just playing with my camera and this is what came of it. Who knew the sun could be so fun at 1 am in the morning. Have a very sunny day!

Big Fat Bumble Bees!

Who doesn’t love big fat bumble bees? Ummmmm……my dog! LOL I went to the Hermitage with Katherine and my dog Eevee to take pictures. There was this huge bush of purple flowers covered in bees and Eevee was not digging it. She kept trying to run away but she was on her leash and couldn’t get very far which upset her even more. I ended up getting some great pictures of the bees and Eevee got to chase some butterflies (far away from the bees)!

Four Roses

This past weekend, I ventured out to take some pictures of flowers. I went to the Hermitage Museum in town and got some amazing photos. The roses were so beautiful. I still can’t believe how many great pictures I got. I couldn’t have asked for a better day. (ok, maybe if it were a little less windy, but I was right on the water.)

My Eevee Bear

This is my Eevee Bear. She is a black toy Pomeranian and she’s my baby girl. As you can tell, I have a VERY difficult time keeping her still enough to take NON blurry pictures. I don’t even think tranquillizers would work cause she even moves in her sleep. LOL Anyway, it’s a goal of mine to take REALLY clear crisp pictures of her some day. It may be a long time from now, but it will happen.

Pygmy Goat

All I can say is that I love these pygmy goats. I want pygmy goats running around my house like dogs (but without the mess). They are soooooo adorable.

A Draft Horse Named Ivy

I was visiting friends out in the country this weekend. They have a small farm with horses, chickens, dogs, snakes and goats that are boarding. The only thing small there is the goats. They raise everything BIG! They have draft horses, big fat fuzzy feet chickens, mastiffs and boas. I love it. I want to start a farm for people to visit where all the animals are the wrong size. I want mini moo cows, pygmy goats, giant chickens, mini and mega sized horses. I want all the tables and chairs to be really big or really small. I want all the plants and flowers to be abnormally sized too. I think that would be an awesome place to visit. I can see it now, itty bitty corn stalks next to gigantic pumpkins next to pea pods the size of your head. LOL, that would be awesome.
